エンジニアをやっておりますが、物流のシステムと現場に関わってきた経験が長いので、その分野も結構話せたりします。
なので、オンライン英会話レッスンにて講師を探す時、
「物流について話ができる人いないかな。」と検索をかけてみると、１人だけ見つかったので早速予約をしてみました。
しかし、その方は物流会社に所属してはいるものの、採用担当なので、実は物流にはそれほど詳しくないとのこと。
が、ここは発想を変えて、
「これが採用面接で、私が応募者だったとしたら、どんな質問をしますか？」
と聞いてみた。
以下、講師から返ってきた質問の一覧です。
- What are your previous job?
- Why did you resign from your previous job?
- Why do you want to apply in our company?
- Do you have pending jobs in another company?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What can you contribute to the company?
- What motivates you to work?
- What are you passionate about?
- Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
- Can you tell me about a difficult work situation and how you overcame it?
- What is your salary range expectation?
- Why should we hire you?
- What did you like most about your last position?
- What did you like least about your last position?
- How do you handle stress?
- What is your greatest accomplishment?
「Why should we hire you?」とか、答えるの難しくないか？
と思って聞いてみたら、以下のメッセージが来ました。
Tips on how to answer this question:
- State your experiences
- Highlight your achievement in the previous company
- Focus on what you can bring to the new company
- Always answer honestly,
という事で、興味のある方は、レッツトライ！
ただ、質問の内容は、職種やポジションによって大きく変わってくると思うので、「物流会社に転職する場合、こんな質問が来る（可能性がある）」というレベルに留めておいてもいいんじゃないかと思います。
ちなみに、どんなポジションで応募してきた設定なのかは伝え忘れてました。
